Good Beer in Corvallis? The Sky’s the Limit!

ImageImage

Spring time is brewing in Corvallis, and so too is the team at Sky High Brewing. Sky High opened in 2012, and since then has gained the attention and adoration of local beer lovers.

Not a hops person yourself? That’s fine. You don’t have to enjoy beer to absolutely fall in love with this place. Owner Scott McFarland has had plenty of experience running a restaurant, as the founder of Corvallis’ legendary American Dream Pizza, whose tagline is “Music. Art. Beer. Pizza.” Now those are four things I can get behind.

Sky High also offers a number of delicious cocktails to enjoy with your meal (I recommend the Moscow Mule). And, don’t worry, they offer plenty of merchandise for you to walk home with including t-shirts, coasters, and growlers (or growlitas).

They pour 18 original brews, including some seasonal favorites. Want to try ‘em all? No problem. The bartender will happily bring some samples for you and your friends to taste. The staff certainly treats every day as worthy of celebration…particularly Growler Tuesdays.

Sky High Brewery is an excellent hangout spot, with seating and heating on the roof (and a wide screen TV to accompany the outdoor bar), as well as a gorgeous view of the Willamette River, just a minute’s walk away.

If you have yet to check out the new skyscraper of Corvallis, you will be pleasantly surprised by the artistic, unique, and welcoming ambiance of the brewery/restaurant. So grab a beer, grab a meal, and head down to the riverfront for a day of leisure at Sky High Brewing in Corvallis!
